Doodhi in coconut milk
Cut Doodhi In a pot add water salt and some Haldi Allow Doodhi to soften ( not mushy ) Strain water and set aside .
Add some coconut oil or any oil of your choice 1 onion finely chopped and braise roll translucent add : 1 teaspoon ginger 1 teaspoon garlic Ground green chiliSome jeera seeds Braise then add the steamed Doodhi Along with : 1 /2 teaspoon jeera powder ½ teaspoon Dhana powder ¼ teaspoon garam Masala Haldi Salt
Give it a toss Add ½ cup coconut milk and ¼ cup plain yogurt . Allow to simmer on low add ½ cup water .
Temper : 1 teaspoon Rye (black seed) 2 dry red chili Handful Kari leaves oilAdd this to Doodhi
Garnish with dhania (coriander) and serve with roti
