½ recipe sponge cake 2 boxes strawberry jelly prepared as instructed Custard (recipe below ) Whipped sweetened cream Fruit for deco Crushed flakeChocolate Custard 3 cups milk ¾ cup fresh cream2-3 teaspoon vanilla essence 4-6 tablespoons custard powder 1 teaspoon yellow colouring ¼-½ tin condensed milk 1.) bring to the boil 3 cups of milk with the colouring. 2.) in a bowl whisk together the fresh cream, vanilla essence, condensed milk and custard powder. Add to the coloured milk. 3.) place on low and whisk until boiling and thickened. Adjust sweetness to your preference. Leave it to cool down Layer. 1. Cut pieces of cake and place in bowls.2. Pour over jelly and set in the fridge. 3. Once jelly is set spoon over the custard and place in fridge to get cold .4. Pipe cream over the cold custard and top with fruit and chocolate.
