INGREDIENTS
250g butter¾ cup icing sugar½ cup cornflour1 egg yolk1 teaspoon vanilla essence2 ½ tablespoon custard powderflour as required
Decorations:cherriesicing sugar
METHOD
Cream butter and icing sugar. Add cornflour and mix well.Add egg yolk and rest of ingredients to make a soft dough.pipe out 3 small stars and place slices of cherries in between and bake in moderate oven until light in color.Dust with icing sugar.
