INGREDIENTS
2 x ¼ chicken portions1 kg loin chops1 box Shan tikka spiceLemon juice and oil (as requested on back of box)Butter1 teaspoon crushed garlic1 teaspoon red ginger garlic masalaAdditional lemon juice6 Khan's sweet chilli sausages3 potatoes (cut into fries/chips)
To serve-SaladGarlic naanLemon wedges
METHOD
1. Add oil and lemon to spice mix, making a paste. 2. Mix in crushed garlic and masala. 3. Reserve half of the paste, massage the rest into chicken and loin chops.4. Grill on electric griller. 5. Whilst it's cooking, heat the reserved paste on the stove with a little more lemon and few blobs butter. 6. When the chicken and chops are done, then spoon/brush on the cooked reserved marinade.7. Grill sausages.8. Fry chips and season. Optional-9. Place in a glass pyrex or metal pan.10. Make a small candle holder shape with a piece of foil. 11. Heat a coal, when smoking quickly place in foil holder.12. Place with chicken and chops and cover with cling wrap. This will give the meat a smokey flavor like it was braaid on charcoal.
