INGREDIENTS
180ml flour
2ml baking powder
pinch of salt
3 eggs
125ml castor sugar and extra for
sprinkling
250g strawberries
250ml cream whipped
125ml strawberry jam
METHOD
sift flour, salt ,baking powder.leave
aside
beat egg until frothy on high speed with
electric
beater,add sugar and cont beating for
five
minutes.use large metal spoon fold in
the
rest of
ingredients.be care do not overmix,
spoon
mixture
into well greased swiss roll pan.bake
for
10 -15 minutes
until golden brown.remove from oven turn
out on to a
large sheet of baking paper that has
being
sprinkled
with castor sugar.trim the edges with a
sharp
knife,roll up the cake the grease proof
paper.wrap in
damp tea towel and set aside to
cool.uroll
spread
jam and fresh cream and
strawberries.then
gently roll cake again
and put on a serving plate.garnish with
jam and
strawberries.
