1 cup sugar ¼ cup water 1 cup cream 4 tablespoon butter2 tablespoon vanilla 1 teaspoon salt
1. Place sugar and water in a deep saucepan and cook on medium heat until it forms a deep umber color (DO NOT STIR). 2. Quickly remove saucepan from the heat and stir in butter. 3. Put the saucepan back on the heat and stir. Slowly add the cream while stirring (it will bubble).4. Allow to boil for a few minutes. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla and salt. Store in jars and refrigerate.
