INGREDIENTS
250g ground beef (mince)1 large onion (sliced)2 tablespoon oil½ tablespoon red ginger garlic masala1 teaspoon mild chilli powder½ teaspoon salt½ teaspoon dhana jeeroo powderPinch turmeric powder2 tomatoes (liquidized)40g sachet tomato paste1 cup Mc'Cains frozen mixed vegetables (peas, carrots, corn)
METHOD
1. Braise onion in oil till golden.2. Add spices and masala, braise till fragrant.3. Add washed and drained mince. Braise till browned, breaking any lumps as it cooks.4. Add mixed veg, tomatoes & tomato paste.5. Cook till veg are tender and the tomato has reduced.6. Spoon into ready vetkoek.#mamataughtmewellrecipes
