4 cups snowflake cake flour @snowflake_sa ½ cup snowflake nutty wheat flour @snowflake_sa ½ cup all bran flakes crushed or 2 weetbix biscuits crushed½ cup oats¼ cup chopped pecans¼ cup coconut1 cup brown sugar1 - 1 & ½ cups buttermilk4 & ¾ teaspoon baking powder @royalbakingpowdersa 1 teaspoon salt2 tablespoons saumph (optional)1 tablespoon sesame seeds1 egg300g melted butter Mix all dry ingredients Add melted butterBeat egg and sour milk separately Mix into dry ingredients to form a dough Bake in a preheated oven @ 180 till pinkSlice then lower temperature and allow to crisp. Switch oven off and leave rusks to get nice and crispy. Enjoy. *Note by Fatima A LatifI added sliced almonds and slivered pistachios. I also added black and white sesame seeds. Optionally sunflower or pumpkin seeds, cherries or raisins could also be added.
