+- 2 & ½ cups Sifted Flour½ teaspoon salt1 tablespoon oil4 full tablespoon melted Rama Margarine or use Butter Rub to flourThen add 2 level teaspoon baking powder¼ cup sugarNow take½ packet dry yeast add toAdd to flourBeat togetherAdd 1 egg2 Tblso Warm. WaterVanilla essenceTo ¾ cup warm milkMix the above together to make a soft dough(add more warm milk if required) Knead dough wellPlace in a cassetole Lighlty rub little oil over the dough and cover it with cling wrapKeep in a warm place to double in size+- 1 ½ hoursFlatten with hand to 2 cm height cut with a small round cutter Place cut rounds on a greased plastic paper or foil Leave again to rise till double +- 30 minutesHeat deep oil Fry doughnuts in medium to hot oilDrakn and immefiately roll in sugar and castor sugar mix Make a hole with a wooden spoon handle in the centre of the doughnutFill with your favourite Jam(I used, Apricot Jam) Enjoy
