INGREDIENTS
1 kg fry steak2 carrots 2 onion1 stalk celery Block beef stock1 kg puff pastry 1 teaspoon fine saltCrack up some black pepper 2 tablespoon flour 2 tablespoon flour 2 tablespoon oil4 cups hot boiled water
METHOD
1.cut up steak to small peices 2. Rub in the flour to the steak3. Fry the steak in hot oil. For about 4mins till the steak seals off. 4. Then add your salt and pepper.5. After that let that fry for few minutes. Then put in your chopped up veg. 6. Let that all fry for another 6 minutes or so. 7. Add the beef stock to that 4 cups of water. Then pour all the water into the pot.. Turn the stove down to low. Let that boil for 2 hours on low.. 8. After 2 hours mix 2tbls of flour with some water. Let it be a little weak. Then add that to steak. Same time it will make it thick.. Move pot from the stove.Then line a pie tray that u want bake in. Put puff pastry at the bottom of the tray. Let pastry hang out onto the sides. Then fill the steak filling. The put another slice of pastry to on top of the filling. Cover that. Cut of the remaining pastry from the sides. Poke small holes in pie. So it will bake with no problem..9. Brush the top with egg. Bake for 40mins.150 degrees. Enjoy..
