INGREDIENTS
1 onion finely chopped
Oil / ghee (Clarified butter)
½ kg steak mince
Peas
1 teaspoon garlic
½ teaspoon ginger
Red masala ( depending how strong you want )
2 teaspoon dhana
1 teaspoon Jeeru (Cumin)
½ teaspoon red chilli powder
½ teaspoon haldi
Salt to taste
Drop of lemon juice
2 tomatoes grated
1 teaspoon tomato paste
1 potato cubed
METHOD
Braise onion with oil or ghee (Clarified butter) until soft , do not let it turn brown , add in the ginger garlic and red masala and allow to braise for 1 minutes , add the cubed potatoes ,add the mince and using your spoon separate the mince , allow to cook for 5 minutes and then add all the spices leaving just the tomatoes and paste also add in ready boiled peas now , when the mince is almost done add in the tomatoes and allow to cook until the water of tomatoes has burnt out , now lately add in the paste and cook for 2 minutes .
INFO & TIPS
Best eaten with rotis
I also sometime make kari and throw over my mince before eating .
