INGREDIENTS
2kg chicken3tbls ghee (Clarified butter) 2onionCurry leaf1 bunch dhania (coriander) 6 tamtotes 3tbls ginger and garlic 1 bunch tyme 3 green chillies 2 teaspoon jeera seeds 2 teaspoon dhania (coriander) powder 2 teaspoon jeera powder 2chilli powder 1/2 teaspoon garam masala2 turmeric 2curry spoon kashmir masalaSalt. Per your amount 6 potatoes 2 teaspoon food colouring3 teaspoon plain yogurt
METHOD
Wash and cut chicken. Let it be big peices. Mix the chicken with tomtotes. Curry leaf. Spices. Half bunch dhania (coriander). Ginger and garlic. Chillies. Yogurt. Tyme. Marinate that over night. Then in the pojie pot make the ghee (Clarified butter) out. Add slice onion jeera seeds. Let that fry up nice till it is golden brown. Then add your marinated chicken. Let that cook on low. After 30 minutes you can add your potatoes and salt. Let that cook till your potatoes are soft. Once done add the remaining dhania (coriander) to the curry.I love my curry with riceππenjoy..
INFO & TIPS
Pls add food colouring to ur potatoes before u add it to the curry.. And did u remember I said cook the curry on low.. Yes yes. That is because the chicken will bring out its own water. Even when you add the potatoes in it will cook with that water.. And for some reason you need to add water you can do so. But plz add it from the side of the pot. And not pour straight in the middle. You will kill the flavour of the curry. And add 1 cup boiled water at a time.. Enjoy..I also used the biryani mix to my curry.
