INGREDIENTS
1 medium onion - very finely chopped or grated
1 medium potato - grated
1 teaspoon turmeric
1 teaspoon-tablespoon chilli powder
3-4 fresh green chillies - finely chopped [optional]
2 garlic cloves - grated
Salt to taste
Coriander leaves - very finely chopped
1-2 tablespoon gram flour or plain flour
Oil for frying
METHOD
Mix the onion, potatoes, chillies, turmeric, salt, chilli powder,
garlic and coriander leaves in a bowl. Add the gram or plain flour
- just enough to make the mixture stick.
Heat the oil and spoon in the onion mixture with a tablespoon,
making the size of them to be just a little more than the spoon
itself. Fry both sides till golden and cooked inside. Serve hot.
Can be served as an appetizer or snack.
