INGREDIENTS
1 ½ cup mealie meal
1 cup cake flour
3 to 4 tablespoon oil
salt
water for dough
METHOD
Mixed all dry ingredients add oil make bread
crumbs. Add water till dough is a plyable stiff
dough. Roll out as thin as 2mm. small
rounds.
Heat oil and drop temp to 3 or 2 . Insert roti in
oil , immediately press a ladle into centre so
it
forms a basket. Note oil is correct temp when
roti comes up around ladle. once slightly
golden
and crisp turn upside down on a tray with
newspaper at bottom and paper towel on top.
leave
to drain for at least 30 minutes. When serving
add
filling of steak/chicken , some sambals on
top.
