INGREDIENTS
250gr butter or margarine6 tablespoon castor sugar1 teaspoon salt6 cups flour8 teaspoons baking powder2 cups butter milk2 eggs
METHOD
250gr margarine or butterBeat until creamyAdd in 6 tablespoons castor sugar1 teaspoon salt and beat again creamy
Add in 6 cups flour with 8 teaspoon baking powder must be sifted
Beat in till it resembles bread crumbs
Then make a well in the middle and add in 2 cups sourmilk or buttermilk and 2 eggs set aside a little for the top
And fold together do not over mix
Cut in round circle with a cutter and put in a hot oven on 160 for 15 to 20mins
