Using the Haleem Osmans Taj Mahal mix in BoxYou can follow the recipe in the box or see below my style
METHODSoak the ingredients of 1 packet of Haleem box. OvernightWith ½ cup pea dhal or ¼ gram dhal (optional) When soft then cool And liquidise
In a pot add 3 - 4 tablespoon ghee (Clarified butter) 3 - 4 tablespoon oilAdd 1 sliced onionFew curry leaves2 Slit fresh Green or Red Chilli (Becareful as the mix is Hot in spice) 2 cinamon stick2 Elachi (cardomom) podsAdd 3 Cubed Chicken fillets1 tablespoon Lemon juice½ teaspoon garlic crushed or slices1 teaspoon ginger garlic paste¼ teaspoon tumeric (optional) 2 teaspoon Dhana Jeera powderAdd a small grated tomato braiseAdd the contents of the liquidised lentilsBraise wellAdd 4 cups water Let it cook add water as you requireWhen almost done add½ cup soaked jungle oats to thicken (can add more if u prefer) 1 teaspoon Garam MasalaLet it cook wellAdjust Salt and Chilli tasteAdd lemon juice Make a wagaar withghee (Clarified butter)Few slices onionWhole jeeraPour over the HaleemGarnish with Chopped green dhania (coriander)Chopped shalllot little mintEnjoy with naan rolls and lemon VariationsAdd boiled rice for kitchro
