A special meal for a blessed day.Jumu'ah Mubarak!Mutton biryani straight from the heart—served with dua, dhai and love.
Mutton biryani

Heat oilFry 2 sliced onionsAdd 2 tablespoon ginger garlic pasteAdd 1 kg muttonSautéThen add 1 box shan biryani masala1 teaspoon saltAdd 1 cup water1 chopped tomato1 cup yoghurtMixPressure cook for 15 minutesAdd in 1 packet of sour plums
RiceBoil waterAdd 2 slices lemon2 bay leaves1 teaspoon cumin seeds1 black cardomomSalt to taste2 cinnamon sticks1 teaspoon coriander seeds
Add 4 cups rice and cook until almost doneStrain rice.Take out a cup of cooked rice and mix with powdered yellow colouring and set aside.
To layer
Add ½ of the rice to a pot.Then add the cooked muttonThen top with the other half riceLast, add the coloured rice on top
Layer slices tomato overMint leavesClose lid and steam
Serve with salad and dhai
(If you don't have the shan box, just substitute with all masalas and whole spices )
