Marinate chicken in:2 tablespoon ginger garlic2 teaspoon ground red chilli paste1 tablespoon ground garlic2 heaped teaspoon corriander powder2 heaped teaspoon cumin powder1 teaspoon tumeric3 teaspoon salt1 heaped teaspoon ground black pepper 2 teaspoon kashmiri red chilli powder2 tablespoon Shah biryani masala1 teaspoon whole Jeeru (Cumin)1 teaspoon chicken masala1 teaspoon lemon an herb2 teaspoon peri peri spice2 cinnamon stickHalf teaspoon cinnamon powder4 Elachi (cardomom) podsHalf teaspoon ground Elachi (cardomom) powder3 cloves1 star aniseed1 dry red chilli2 split birds eye red chilli1 cup Greek Yoghurt1 & half cups fried onions (use 2 for extra masala)1 tin chopped tomatoes or 5 blanched ground tomatoes2 tablespoon tomatoe pasteJuice of 1 lemon2 tablespoon olive oil or ghee (Clarified butter)1 large handful of fresh corriander chopped2 teaspoon saffron essence or few strands of saffron soaked in ¼ boiling water (add half of either, keep half for topping)Mix all above with chicken an marinate overnight

The next day add some oil an ghee (Clarified butter) to a large enough pot to fit all the ingredients above an cook your marinate chicken on a low flame for 20/25min while u preheat your oven at has mark 6There after remove from stove Layer over your chicken your Masoor (Back lentils) Then potatoes an eggsThen lastly take 2 tablespoon rice out of your rice an layer the rest off the rice over the potatoes an eggMix the 2 tablespoon rice with the remainder of the saffron you kept an throw that over your rice, sprinkle some water over the top of the rice Seal the pot with foil an place the lid over an place in oven for 1.5 to 2 hrsRemove an poke a spoon through the middle if its comes out dry the biryani is doneServe with savory an sweet dhai an saladEnjoy
