125g butter/ margerine ( melted) ¾ cup castor sugar1 egg1 cup maas500g self raising flour ( always sift) 2 teaspoon baking powder
Beat your maas and egg together. Add your castor sugar. Sift in your dry ingredients. Lastly add your melted butter/margerine and make a dough. Brush with egg before baking.
It's better to make it with margerine. Butter will make it to delicate to handle.
