CREDITS
INGREDIENTS
500g Chicken fillets raw1 tablespoon ginger garlic pasteGreen chillies to taste1 teaspoon red chilli flakes¼ teaspoon black pepper¾ teaspoon salt or to taste½ teaspoon dhana powder½ teaspoon jeera powder¼ teaspoon chaat masala½ teaspoon garam masala1 tablespoon soft ghee (Clarified butter)¼ cup chopped fresh coriander Cheese slices @cloverwaybetterEggs to coatBreadcrumbs to coat
METHOD
Place the above ingredients, above the cheese slices, in a food processor and blend well till fine.Allow to rest in the fridge for 30min.Take about ¼ cup of the mixture and place between 2 plastics and make it flat. Place a cheese slice in the middle with about 1 1/2cm of chicken mixture at the sides.I would definitely add 2 slices of cheese next time for a more cheesy roll.Roll into a swissroll and seal all edges with the chicken mixture to make a log.I like to freeze them for an hour now so can handle the rolls better.Dip into egg, breadcrumbs and egg again. Deep fry on medium heat till golden brown.Serve with chutney or any sauce of choice. If freezing, dip in egg and coat in breadcrumbs. Fully defrost before use and coat in egg and fry.
