INGREDIENTS
1 kg chicken2 heaped teaspoon ginger and garlic paste 1 teaspoon green masala @sujees_masala 3 tomatoes grated 1 tablespoon tomato paste 1 teaspoon sugar ½ cup fried onions½ cup yoghurt 2 tablespoon lemon juice
2 teaspoon kashmiri chillie powder 2 teaspoon rustenburg chillie powder2 teaspoon crushed chillie 2 teaspoon cumin and corriander powder 1 teaspoon gurum masala ½ teaspoon tumeric powder 2 teaspoon salt
¼ cup oil ¼ cup ghee (Clarified butter)1 teaspoon cumin seeds Cardamom podsCinnamon sticks Bay leaves
METHOD
Marinate chicken with all the ingredients except the oil, ghee (Clarified butter) and whole spices for a few hours.
Heat oil and ghee (Clarified butter). Add whole spices and allow to sizzle. Add chicken and cook on high heat for 5 minutes. Lower heat and cook for about 30 minutes or till the oil comes up. Add fried potatoes and 1 teaspoon Kasoori Methi (Fenugreek). Simmer for 10 minutes. Garnish with dhunia and green chillies. Top with boiled eggs. Serve with roti or naan.
