2 ¼ cup flour add more if needed ½ cup maizena (corn flour)¼ cup oil¾ cup icing sugar250g butter¼ teaspoons almond essence 1 Tablespoon grainy almonds Colouful smarties shimners. Colour icing sugar as desired for drizzles.Excellent bake with kidz and have fun.Teamwork with children for final spoils.
In a mixing bowl cream butter and sugar well. Add maizena (corn flour) and beat a little. Add oil and almond essence and beat again. Add flour gradually to make a very soft dough now sprinkle the crumbled fine grainy bits of almonds. Work lightly as this mixture must have the wet effects add little flour if necessary Pipe with nozzle and bake at 145 degrees for 15-20 minutes until crisp and edges brown. Cool completely and decorate as desired.Above is my spoils on the biscuits colourful smarties melted and drizzle colourful icings over once biscuits baked and cooled.Dust shimmer for a more dazzling finish.Chocolate melted can also be used to dip biscuits.
