INGREDIENTS
1 kg of beef (blades portions)1 teaspoon ginger and garlic mix pasteSalt to tastePinch black pepoer2 medium red onions2 Tablespoon butter ghee (Clarified butter)3 Tablespoon sunflower oil 5 Potatoes chopped into chunks1 teaspoon red chilli powder½ teaspoon turmeric powder ½ tespooon allspice2 medium ripe tomotoes grated1 cinnamon stick2 whole green chilli 1 medium cabbage chopped, rinsed ¾ cup water
METHOD
In a sauce pan, heat oil,cinnamon stick,green chillies and saute red chopped onions until golden brownAdd beef blades ,salt, pepper,ginger, garlic mix, spices and cook for a few minutes. Add tomatoes and allow the mixture to caramelize stirring it occasionally.
Fry chunks of potatoes in a frying pan with butter ghee (Clarified butter) to golden brown add this to the pot followed by chopped cabbage.Add water close lid and let if cook for 35-40 minutes.The cabbage and Potatoe bredie should present a beautiful soft melting potatoes and cabbage to a decatent dish.The butter ghee (Clarified butter) should surface to the top means the water dried out and the fragrance hints of cinnamon means the dish ready to be served.
Hot soft yummy Parathas goes well with this dish.
