500g self raising flour125g margarine ½ teaspoon salt5 tablespoon sugar 1 eggMilk or buttermilk
Empty self raising flour into a bowl, add margarine, salt and sugar and fold in with finger tips to form bread crumb, then add egg and fold in. Once mixed and milk or buttermilk a little at a time until a soft but not sticky dough is formed. Roll out and cut with a cookie cutter or a glass dipped flour.
INFO & TIPS
Use a fork to create a pattern on the sides and dab milk on top. Bake 175deg pre heated oven for 25 min or until tops are light brown
