INGREDIENTS
1 box Allifa's haleem mix2 ½ litres boiling waterOil/ghee (Clarified butter)1 onion (sliced)500g chicken fillet cubed1 tablespoon red ginger garlic masala1 teaspoon salt1 teaspoon dhana jeeroo powder½ teaspoon turmeric powderPacket of oats (enclosed in box)1 cup waterdhania (coriander) ShallotMintLemon juice
METHOD
1. Boil haleem mix with 2 ½ litres water on low heat till mushy.2. In a separate pot, braise onion in oil/ghee (Clarified butter) till softened.3. Add masala & spices, braise till fragrant.4. Then add chicken, coat well.5. Check on dhals, if done, blitz well till smooth.6. Add chicken to dhal, add in packaged oats & 1 cup water.7. Boil for 30min or more, adding more water if needed.8. Add in lemon juice and chopped greens. Mix & heat together.
