INGREDIENTS
1kg fresh kingklip fillets with skin on 1 cup cake flour1 teaspoon chilli powder1 teaspoon paprika powder1 teaspoon Knorr Aromat (a South African Spice) Spice (+ more for grilling)1 teaspoon dried mixed herbs½ teaspoon white pepper1 teaspoon garlic powderButter (as needed)Lemon juice
METHOD
1. Rinse the kingklip. (I kept the fish in whole fillets, but you may cut into smaller pieces to easier handle when turning over in pan whilst frying).2. Mix flour with spices.3. Dip the kingklip into flour mixture, coating well all over.4. Shallow fry on a med-high until lightly golden on either side. (Must not be cooked through).5. Place in an oven proof dish.6. Dot with butter all over and sprinkle more Aromat (a South African Spice) over.7. Place in preheated oven on grill setting and redden fish for a few minutes.8. Drizzle lemon juice over just before serving.
