INGREDIENTS
Butternut-500g butternut cubes1 tablespoon rough red chillies½ teaspoon salt½ teaspoon dhana jeeroo powder½ teaspoon lemon pepper2 tablespoon butter½ cup fresh creamRed chilli flakes
Spinach-1 onion (sliced)500g packet spinach1 tablespoon ground garlic½ teaspoon white pepper½ teaspoon salt½ cup fresh cream(Optional- Add pinch ground green chillies for spiciness)
METHOD
Butternut-1. Snip the corner of butternut packet. Place on a microwavable plate.2. Cook in micro till steamed and tender.3. Mash till smooth.4. Add butter, spices and cream. Mix in.5. Heat in micro or on stove till cream has reduced.6. Garnish with chilli flakes.
Spinach-1. Saute onion in little oil till softened.2. Braise garlic, then add spinach and wilt with a little water.3. Add salt and pepper. Mix in.4. Add cream and cook till reduced. 5. May also crumble in some feta cheese into creamed spinach.
