INGREDIENTS
250g Stork to bake marg (room temp)/ or butter,¾ cup icing sugar, ¾ cup maizena (corn flour) (corn flour), ¼ cup cocoa powder,½ cup oil, 1 teaspoon vanilla essence, ± 2 cups flour (as needed),1x Cadbury Flake chocolate (crushed).
Topping-3x Cadbury Flake chocoates2x 80g slabs Dairymilk chocolate
METHOD
1. Cream butter and icing sugar with electric beater.2. Add in vanilla and oil and mix in.3. Add in cocoa and maizena (corn flour) and beat in.4. Add in crushed Flake and sift in flour as needed.5. Bind by hand to make a soft dough that just comes together.6. Wrap in cling wrap and leave in fridge for 30minutes.7. In the meantime, preheat oven to 160°C.8. Remove from fridge and roll between two wax paper sheets. Make the dough the height of the Flake chocolate, around 1½ cm thick.9. Gently rake the dough with a fork longwards, to give the tree bark look like the Flake Chocolate.10. Then cut into 6cm long x 2cm wide rectangles.11. Place on a lined baking sheet a little apart.12. Bake in preheated oven for about 15mins.13. Remove and cool.14. Roughly crush the Flake meant for the topping.15. Melt the Dairymilk chocolate and drizzle over 2-3 at a time and then sprinkle on crushed flake.
