INGREDIENTS
1kg full chicken wings (skin on)1 tablespoon red ginger garlic masala¼ teaspoon salt1 teaspoon paprika2 tablespoon oil1 tablespoon lemon juice
Coating-1 teaspoon salt1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper1 teaspoon onion powder1 teaspoon garlic powder1 cup maizena (corn flour) (corn starch)
Basting sauce-2 tablespoon butter¼ cup Spur's Hickory basting sauce¼ cup Spur's Durky sauce2 tablespoon Sriracha sauce2 tablespoon brown vinegar1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce1 tablespoon honey1 teaspoon red chilli flakes
METHOD
1. Make a paste with the salt, paprika, red masala, lemon juice and oil.2. Massage onto wings and leave in refrigerator for 2-3hrs.3. Preheat oven to 180°C.4. Mix maizena (corn flour) with spices.5. Dip the wings into the seasoned maizena (corn flour).6. Place the wings on a greased oven tray, bake for 30min, turninf over halfway.7. Whilst wings are baking, heat basting sauce in a saucepan on the stove.8. Pour/or spoon, half the sauce over the wings on one side, bake for 7min.9. Turn the wings over and pour remainder sauce over the wings.10. Bake for another 7min.11. Garnish with sprinkle of paprika, sesame seeds and chopped spring onions.12. Serve with lime wedges and fries. #mamataughtmewellrecipes
