INGREDIENTS
4 Chicken breasts (thinly sliced at an angle) 1 medium Onion (sliced) 3 red cayenne chili's (sliced) 1 teaspoon chopped garlic1cm fresh ginger choppedWorstershire SauceSoy SauceWhite vinegarFine saltIndonesian soy sauce (Woolies) Sunflower Oil½ packet spagetti or egg noodles ½ cup Shallots (Chopped) 1 cup mixed, sliced green, red, yellow pepper1 small carrot( julienned) 1 cup shredded cabbage
METHOD
Place thinly sliced chicken in a bowl, marinate with 20 ml soy sauce, 20 ml Indonesian soy sauce, 20 ml Worstershire sauce, 20 ml white vinegar. Add some fine salt. Marinate overnite in the fridge
Cook spagetti (½ packet) or egg noodles in boiling water with salt and a splash of oil. When cooked al dente, drain and set aside
In a thick based frying pan add oil. Heat pan till very hot. Fry marinated chicken till golden brown. Remove from pan. In the, same pan add onions, cabbage, chilli, peppers, carrots, garlic, ginger, shallots. Fry all according to how soft or crunchy you want them.Add fried chicken to the cooked vegetables in the pan. Add the cooked spagetti or noodles now to the pan mixture of chicken and vegPour in 1 /2 cup of liquid onto the, spagetti this should consist of soy sauce, Indonesian soy sauce, white vinegar and Worstershire sauce.Mix everything together gently Add salt to tasteRemove from heatBon appetite!
INFO & TIPS
If you don't have Indonesian soy sauce, add honey to normal soy sauce. You should aim for a thick, dark syrupy consistency. It should have a savory taste with a bit of sweetness
