INGREDIENTS
• 1 chicken disjointed into curry pieces 1 teaspoon salt1 teaspoon garlic, 1 tablespoon cumin and coriander powder½ teaspoon turmeric powder2 tablespoon kashmiri chilli powder½ a lemons juice1 cup yogurt½ cup oil3 grinded tomatoespinch saffron strands¼ cup fried onion 3-4 whole green chillies
• 2 cups basmati rice •ghee (Clarified butter) -few tablespoonsBoil 3 eggsGarnishing- coriander and fried onions and sliced peppers
METHOD
• 1 chicken disjointed into curry pieces Marinate in 1 teaspoon salt, 1 teaspoon garlic, 1 tablespoon cumin and coriander powder, ½ teaspoon turmeric powder, 2 tablespoon kashmiri chilli powder, ½ a lemins juice, 1 cup yogurt, ½ cup oil, 3 grinded tomatoes, generous pinch saffron strands, ¼ cup fried onion and 3-4 whole fresh green/red chillies.
Leave overnight preferably or few hours will suffice
• Cook 2 cups basmati rice like normal with 2 teaspoon salt and 2 tablespoon ghee (Clarified butter)/oil - half cook (don't steam)• Take a pot and throw marinated meat into pot and simmer on low till meat braised and oil skims up-now let it cool1. Layer a few tablespoon rice in a clean pot with dots of ghee (Clarified butter)2. Place all the cooked meat over nicely set3. And throw over remaining rice4. Boil eggs- cut in half place into rice5. Garnish with coriander and fried onions and sliced peppers6. Steam!... for about 30-45 minutes on low on gas stove/electric7. And enjoy hot with pappad, raita, achaar
