INGREDIENTS
1 lamb legCinnamon sticksClovesSprigs of thyme Aminas steak and chops marinateBrown gravy
METHOD
Make deep little slits in lamb.Insert cinnamon sticks, cloves and thyme in slits.Generously rub marinate over lamb.Foil and refrigerate for 2 days.Pour 2 cups of water into a large pot and place in the lamb.Foil pot so lamb is well steamed.Cook on low to medium heat +- 1½ hours.Turn over and allow to steam a further 1½ hours.Remove from pot and thinly slice.Place in casserole.Prepare gravy as per packet instructions.Pour over lamb, foil and grill in oven for 10 to 15 minutes.Serve immediately.
