No Syrup
RECIPE
Wash and soak 4 cups of rice (Basmati rice)For 10 minutesThen Rince and Boil Till nice and Fluffy (I used microwave For +-10 - 15 minutes) Rince in Cold Water and DrainIn a potHeat up ¼ (quarter) cup of Oil and ¼ (quarter) cup of ghee (Clarified butter)Add in 3-4 Cinnamon Sticks And 3-4 Elachi (cardomom) PodsSultanas, sliced Almonds (Can Add Cashew nuts, pista (pistachio nuts) Etc) let it Braise for a while till its brown, Add in the BOILED Drained RiceMix and Toss wellSprinkle Soaked SAFFRON in little boiling water and Crushed Elachi (cardomom) NOW ADD 2 cups of sugar in the MIXTURE (I added ½ cup more ) Leave it on low for a while On the stove for 15-20 minutes ALLOW TO COOLONCE COOLED COMPLETELY DROP FOOD COLOURING of your desired Choice of ColourTIP( If you want a Colorful Look then DROP FOOD COLOURING IN DIFFERENT SIDES OF THE RICE IN THE POT AND MIX /TOSSGarnish with more Almonds, Cashew nuts and pista (pistachio nuts) etcSERVING SUGGESTIONSERVE WARM WITH NESTLE DESSERT CREAMENJOY😋
