Marinate the chicken with the spices below:1 chicken (cut into pieces, wash, drain and then marinate)¾ teaspoon salt¼ teaspoon chilli¼ teaspoon arad (Turmeric)½ teaspoon jeeru (cumin) powder ¼ teaspoon dhana powder1 ½ teaspoon chopped garlic1 teaspoon chopped ginger 1 teaspoon oil Other ingredients:1 teaspoon butterCALISTO’S extra hot peri peri sauce (½ bottle)Potatoes (peeled, washed and sliced into wedges) For Serving:Yorkshire PuddingsSteamed veggies of your choice
1.) Marinate chicken with all marinade ingredients including oil and keep aside.2.) Melt butter in a nonstick pan, add the marinated chicken to this, cook for 10-15 minutes on medium heat.3.) Add the potatoes and cover with some boiling water, continue cooking on medium heat until the chicken and potato is cooked through and there’s a little water left then add in your CALISTO’S sauce and leave to simmer on low till the sauce thickens slightly.4.) Serve with steamed veggies of your choice stuffed in baked Yorkshire puddings. I serve the sauce separately from the chicken because I pour the sauce into the Yorkshire pudding.
