INGREDIENTS
3 cups preboiled Chana dhaalOil about ¼ cup (l use less oil in my curries you can use more if you prefer)1 large onion sliced1 tablespoon whole cuminHandfull curry leaves2 red chillies2 medium tomatoes liquidised1 tablespoon tomatoe puree1 tablespoon red chilli garlic paste @sunnyside classic2 teaspoon fine coriander2 teaspoon fine cuminSalt to taste ½ teaspoon tumeric2 teaspoon coarse red chillies
METHOD
Heat the pot add the whole cumin and dry roast untill light brown.Add in the oil and the sliced onion fry untill light brown add in the whole red chillies.Braise a little add in the red chilli garlic paste Add in all the spices and braise a little.Add in the liquidised tomatoes and tomatoe puree.Cook untill the water is almost reduced.Add in the pre boiled Chana dhall (lentils) and turn the heat low and cook untill the dhall (lentils) is soft and the water has cooked out
