1 cup milk3 eggs1 teaspoon cinnamon ½ teaspoon nutmeg 1 teaspoon vanilla essence ⅓ sugar 2-3 tablespoon cream
METHOD
Mix all the above together. Layer a casserole with slices of bread. Don’t overlap your bread slices. Pour some of the mixture on top, making sure it’s covers the slices completely. Then repeat the process with another layer of bread slices and milk mixture. Cling your casserole and leave in the fridge overnight, ready to bake in the morning. Before baking mix cinnamon powder and brown sugar together, sprinkle a layer onto your French toast, then bake at 200 degrees for 45min to an hour. After 30 minutes, take out drizzle golden syrup and put back in the oven to bake.
