Ingredients: 1kg red fish (sliced) or hake medallions Fish masala 1 large onion (sliced) 2 pieces taj 4-6 tomatoes (liquidized) 1 teaspoon dhana Jeeru (Cumin) powder 2 teaspoon chilli powder ¼ teaspoon turmeric powder 1 teaspoon salt ½ teaspoon white pepper 2 cups frozen peas 4 potatoes (quartered, fried)
Smear fish in masala and fry lightly on either side for 2min. Braise onion in oil with taj, add tomatoes and spices and cook till starting to thicken. Place down in oven proof dish fried fish, peas and potatoes. Pour over tomato chutney and cover with foil. Bake in moderate preheated oven for 20min. Serve with fresh bread/ flatbread.
