INGREDIENTS
Buns2/3 cup (158ml) milk 2 teaspoon. (10ml) instant yeast 1tsp. (5ml) sugar 2 cup (280g) all purpose flour 3tbsp. (45ml) sugar ¼ teaspoon. Salt ¼ teaspoon. Baking powder 3 tablespoon. (30ml) melted butter 170g cream cheese cold 1 tablespoon. Butter (for pan) 2 tablespoon. (30ml) milk for brushing
For syrup1 cup sugar 1 cup water ½ teaspoon. Lemon juice
METHOD
And lukewarm milk , yeast and sugar mix and let the yeast activities for around 10 minutes.In a bowl add all purpose flour 3 tablespoon. Sugar, salt, baking powder mix and then add the melted butter and yeast mixture knead for 5 minutes.
Cover the dough and let it rinse for 1 hours.
Prepare the baking tray by brushing it with butter and set a side Cut the cream cheese into small cubes.
For syrup In a pan add sugar water and lime juice. Boil for 10 minutes
Once the dough rises divide the dough into 32 equal pieces.Roll the dough into balls and flatten them on your hand and add the cream cheese and roll it up into a ball again.Please the cream cheese balls into the prepared tin leaving little space in between ones done with all balls. Cover and let it rise for ½ hour.
Now brush with milk and bake in a preheated oven at 193c for 20 minutes l.Once out of the oven pour the syrup all over the bun and serve warm Enjoy
