INGREDIENTS
375grams butter1 and a half cups sugar1 and a half tablespoons glucose syrup mixed with 3 tablespoons boiling water1 cup chopped almonds
METHOD
Melt butter and sugar in a thick based pot on high for 7 minutes.Then add glucose and water.Stir continuously. Cook for +- 7 minutes.When mixture begins to leave the sides of the pot add in almonds (+-110°c on candy thermometer)Stir until mixture darkensTest: drop a small amount into ice cold water, if it hardens its ready. Pour onto a foiled, greased tray.
