INGREDIENTS
Cake:4 eggs π₯ 1 cup sugar 2 tablespoon baking powder 1 teaspoon salt 250 gram butter π§ 1-2 tablespoon vanilla essence Β½ cup milkΒΎ cup cooking oil2 Β½ cups flour 1 large grapefruit (zest+juice)
Brigadeiro:1 can condensed milk 3 tablespoon dark cocoa powder 1-2 tablespoon π§ butter
METHOD
Cake:
Beat butter and sugar until creamy
Add eggs π₯ and continue to beat until well combined..
Add oil, salt, baking powder, grapefruit juice, zest, milk and flower and combine to form a batter..
Bake at 280 degrees for 35 to 40 minutes or until baked through..
Let the cake cool..
Brigadeiro:
Combine condensed milk, cocoa powder and butter and cook on low heat for 10 minutes until it resembles a dark chocolate ganache....
Let it cool slightly but not too cool...
Drizzle over the cake and add toppings of your choice...
INFO & TIPS
You can add a splash of vanilla essence in the brigadeiro..
