My Easy Quick style
Firstly wash and soak 1 cup Basmati rice for few hours Drain add 1 teaspoon and boil in microwave till soft Rince again and drain keep asideBoil Take 1 large Potato cut in cubes add 2 tablespoon oil ⅓ Cup water Cook in microwave till soft Keep aside Steam 1 cup Frozen Stir fry vegetable and 1 cup Frozen mixed vegetables keep aside In a pot Add 3 tablespoon ghee (Clarified butter) 2 tablespoon Oil½ teaspoon Whole Jeeru (Cumin)1 Star anise 1 cloves 2 small pieces tuj (cinnamon stick) 2 Elachi (cardomom) 2 Curry leaves or 2 BayleavesBraise Add 1 Large grated tomato Add +-1 teaspoon Kashmiri Chilli powder1 teaspoon Crushed Red chilli½ teaspoon tumeric1 teaspoon biryani spice powder1 teaspoon Crushed black pepper ½ teaspoon Crushed or whole slit garlic1 teaspoon lemon juiceSaffronCook few minutes utes Now add Steamed vegetables Add 1 tablespoon Vegetable spice Cook till the vegetable are soft and nicely infused with the spicy tomato Now add the potatoes and the Rice Mix well now Adjust the salt and Chilli taste Make a wagaar with ghee (Clarified butter) and whole Jeeru (Cumin) only Pour over the pillau Cook on stove OR Bake in oven cover with foil for 30 minutes at 180*Garnish with Chopped Green dhania (coriander)Serve with plain dhal or any Meats or Chicken strips etcAnd Papar and AchaarTip:Can add little Boiled Masoor (Back lentils) Fresh vegetables Gadra Beans etc Enjoy
