INGREDIENTS
500g Steak (cut in strips or cubed) 2 teaspoon red chilli, ginger & garlic pasteSalt2 whole Elachi (cardomom)1 whole green chilliSprinkle whole jeera1 whole green pepper (julienne or cubed)Tomatoe puree1 teaspoon chili powder of choice1 teaspoon dhania (coriander) jeera powderΒΌ teaspoon turmeric powderSalt to tasteWorcestershire sauceghee (Clarified butter)
METHOD
Cut and wash steak pieces. In a pot add ghee (Clarified butter) and whole spices.
Add in washed steak, salt, Worcestershire sauce and cook.
Once steak water (besine water) dries up add in alittle more Worcestershire sauce, red chillie and ginger garlic paste and more water to cook the steak till soft.
Then add in your chillie powder, turmeric, dhania (coriander) jeera and cook for a further 5 minutes so spices cook. Add abit more water so it doesn't get caught.
Add in green peppers, a little more water and lastly tomatoe puree (I added in about 3 and half Table spoons to get a nice gravy).
Once excess water dries, it is ready.
Please note: when adding water, you only adding alittle at a time so as to not let the curry catch on the bottom of the pot. That's why there is no measurement.
