Heat a pot,on med flame,add the cumin seeds & lightly crackle so it gets a roasted taste, add the garlic paste, fry for 2 minutes, add the onions fry till soft ,add half cup of water, green chillie paste, cumin powder, coriander powder & turmeric powder. Now add the green peas & potatoes & bring to a boil. Add in the rice, salt & flavour enhancer, add 2 cups of water for every 1 cup of rice. Cook on high flame till water starts to evaporate ,when a little water is left lower the heat and cook for another 30mins. Serve with lots of crispy fried onions ,raaita & kachumber. Enjoy😋 the twist.
