Potatoes are optional in this recipe As I Add Dumplings
In a deep pot add 1 Curry spoon ghee (Clarified butter)1 medium grated Onion1 cinnamon stick Little whole Jeera seeds2 Elachi (cardomom)Little Crushed black Whole Pepper Bayleaf Saute Now add 1 Kg cut up Meaty Beef With Bones With 1 teaspoon ginger garlic Cook Meat for 5 minutes for colour to change 1 tablespoon Crushed Red chilli (Can use powder) Add water to soften the meat When soft add 1 Large grated Tomato 3 tablespoon Tomato Puree1 teaspoon Dhana Jeera mix 1 Full teaspoon tumeric Little mixed herbs Cook when meat is soft Add handful of Robot Peppers Carrot rings Peas mushrooms When it's soft add 4 tablespoon White vegetable soup powder (mix with little water) 1 can butter beans Add 1 tablespoon Tomato sauce And 1 tablespoon Worcester sauce Let gravy be extra and soupy Add a handful of chopped dhania (coriander) Now Add Dumplings only when Curry is cooked and meats and vegetables are soft ADJUST SALT AND CHILLI Make Dumplings my style Sticky2 cups flour 100 g melted butter 1 teaspoon saltLittle mixed herbs Rub butter well in the flour Add 2 teaspoon Baking powder Mix well now addWarm milk and warm. Water mixed to maje a sdift Sticky dough) Whilst Pot is on stove and curry is at boiling point add the lumps of dumplings Cover with the Pot lid immediately for it to steam +-12 minutesCheck by poking a Skewer in the dumpling it will be spongy almost like a soft scone Taste and enjoy with Worcester sauce 😋
