INGREDIENTS
4c flour1/2 Cup milk powder10g yeast1/4 teaspoon salt1/2 Cup sugar1/2 Cup warm milk1/2 Cup warm water125g butter3 eggs (reserve 1 for egg wash before baking)
Filling3 tablespoon butter softened1/2 Cup sugar (I used brown)2 teaspoon cardamom powder1 teaspoon cinnamon powder
Topping1 Cup icing sugar2 tablespoon milk powder1/2 teaspoon Almond essence1 teaspoon vanilla essence3 tablespoon cream cheese2 tablespoon butter2 teaspoon cardamom powder
METHOD
Mix together dry ingredients Melt butter and milk on stove top, add to the dry ingredients little at time, then add in 2 eggs, 1 at a time and lastly the water to form a doughAllow to stand for 2 to 3 hours until doubled
Divide dough into two, roll into squares, spread filling (below) roll up like a swissroll, cut, lay on baking try, allow to proof again for 1 to 2 hours then eggwash and bake at 180.Once baked spread topping over (below) Serve immediately
Filling:Spread butter over doughMix together sugar, cinnamon and cardamom....sprinkle over butter
Topping:Beat together till fluffy(I added some milk to get the consistency a but more runny)
