4 xl eggs1 ¼ c sugar2 Cup flour3 teaspoon baking powder1 Cup milk125g butter1 teaspoon vanilla essence
Icing :125g butter2 1/2 Cup icing sugar3-4 tablespoon milk1 teaspoon vanilla
METHOD
Beat eggs and sugar together until light and creamySift flour and baking powder, fold into egg mixtureHeat milk and butter - must be warm. Add vanillaPour mill mixture into the flour mixture and beatBake at 180 for 20mins
Icing:Beat well. Adjust consistency and sweetness as preferred.

I didn't have XL eggs so used L which I had, and also made this sponge cake I to cupcakes
