INGREDIENTS
3 cups flour1 Cup icing sugar6 teaspoon baking powder*125g cold butter
1 egg1cup sour milk/yoghurt/buttermilk2 teaspoon vanilla essence
METHOD
Sift together flour, sugar and baking powder Grate in butter and mix to resemble breadcrumbsAdd in the egg, vanilla and enough liquid to form a soft but slightly sticky doughRoll out, eggwash the top or sprinkle four and bake at 190 for 12 to 15 minutes
INFO & TIPS
I used 4t baking powder
Didn't add anything to the tops before baking
Baked on 180 until done
