INGREDIENTS
+-2kg lamb leg centre washed & cut into curry pieces. ( Medium sliced & trimmed off the fat )
Add the following directly to your meat & marinade- 2 tablespoon Ginger Garlic- 2 tablespoon Red Chillies & Garlic Masala- 2 Full teaspoon Red Powder Chillies- 2 teaspoon Dhana Jeeru (Cumin)- 1 teaspoon arad (Turmeric)- 2 teaspoon Salt ( or to taste , depending how salty your homemade red masala is... then add to your discretion )- 1 satchet Tomato paste- 2 tablespoon Lemon Juice- 2 capfuls of egg yellow colouring
+- 6 tomatoes liquidise+- 6 potatoes peeled & quartered
*+-5 onions chopped finely*1 ladle oil*1 big curry spoon ghee (Clarified butter)*2 big pieces Cinnamon Sticks/ Few Cloves/ teaspoon of Whole Jeeru (Cumin)
METHOD
First braise the 4 asterisked items until light peachy golden...
Then add in your marinated meat & braise for +- 10min.
Add in your liquidised tomatoes , potatoes & +- 1 kettle of boiling water...
Allow to cook all together on medium heat until cooked through...
Chop lots of fresh dhania (coriander) over before serving...
