INGREDIENTS
DOUGH2 cups flour¼ teaspoon salt2 teaspoon baking powder125g butter1 cup cold milk
Place dry ingredients in a bowl, add butter, add milk and form into a doughRoll dough out thin and cut into rounds using a cutter.Place in greased muffin pan and bake till firm and not brown.Cool
FILLING2 cups cubed chicken1 onion chopped1 teaspoon crushed garlic100g butter1 punnet mushrooms1 cup diced peppersGreen chillies to tasteSalt to taste3 teaspoon Aromat (a South African Spice)½ teaspoon black pepper250ml fresh cream3 tablespoon maziena215g sweetcorn2 tablespoon mayonnaise
METHOD
Sauté onions and garlic in butter. Add chicken and mushrooms, stir fry for a few minutes. Add pepper and spices, pour cream and maziena. Stir till thick and creamy.Remove from heat add sweetcorn and mayonnaise.Spoon filling in cups and sprinkle cheese.Ready to freeze.
