INGREDIENTS
Cake210g self raising flour125g butter200g sugar2 extra large eggs5ml baking powder1ml salt125 ml milk
Chocolate syrup300g icing sugar40g cocoa15ml butter160g desicated coconut180ml water
METHOD
Cake:*Cream the butter and sugar together*Add in 1 egg at a time, beating well after each addition to form a soft creamy batter*Sift the dry ingredients in a separate bowl and add to the egg mixture.*Add in the milk and Mix gently*Turn the mixture into a greased square baking panBake at 180° for 20-25 minutes
Chocolate syrup:*Combine the all the ingredients besides the butter and bring to boil.*Simmer for a few minutes*Mix continuously until the sugar is dissolved*Add in the butter and mix*Allow the syrup to cool down.*dip the cake squares into the syrup and roll into the coconut*Place them on a rack to setENJOY❤🍰
INFO & TIPS
This recipe is amazing!! The cake is super soft and spongy.
(I used 3 medium size eggs)
